The honest answers.
What about licensing?
Performance rights are your responsibility — same as any live show. When you add a song to the setlist or request pool you confirm you've got the right to play it. We disclaim performance-rights liability in the ToS.
What if no one boosts?
You still get the live console, free upvotes, emoji reactions, and tips. Boosts are upside, not a dependency — the room feedback alone changes how you play.
What if the venue WiFi is bad?
Fans use their own data on their phones (it's their device scanning the QR). The artist console needs a stable connection; tether off your phone if you're worried.
How do payouts work?
We use Stripe Connect — onboarding takes about 5 minutes once. After each show, you confirm what you played and we settle boosts the same day. Tips settle immediately.
What if I don't want tips or boosts on this show?
Toggle them off when you create the event — or in settings later. Fans can still upvote, react, leave reviews, and see the live setlist; you get all the engagement, none of the money flow.
How much is the engagement-only flat fee?
€10 per event, charged only when you actually go live (publish + start the show). Drafts and abandoned events never get billed. The flat fee replaces the 15% revenue share for engagement-only shows.
Is CueJam right for solo acts and DJs?
Yes — anyone running a live set with a playable song universe. DJs especially love the boost-to-play flow for crowd-driven encores.
