1. Who we are & acceptance

CueJam ("CueJam", "we", "us"), registered at #26, 1st Main Road, Mathikere, Bangalore 560054, operates a platform connecting artists and audiences for live-show requests, upvotes, reactions, reviews, boosts, and tips. Using CueJam means you accept these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Only persons aged 18 or older may boost or tip — a minor's contract is void under Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Under-18s may use free engagement features only through a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms.

3. Intermediary status & acceptable use

• CueJam is an intermediary under the IT Act, 2000 and observes due diligence under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Verify your account by email/phone code.
• Don't commit fraud, abuse chargebacks, harass others, or post unlawful or infringing content; we may remove content and suspend accounts.

4. Boosts, tips & fees

• A boost is a payment authorization (hold), captured only if the artist plays your song and released automatically if it isn't. Tips are charged immediately and are final.
• CueJam retains a 15% platform share of captured tips and boosts; engagement-only shows carry a flat fee (in INR) charged to the artist. Payments and payouts are processed through our payment partner (Razorpay), and UPI and cards are supported.

5. Performance rights

Artists are solely responsible for music performance licensing and royalties (e.g., IPRS/PPL); CueJam grants no performance rights.

6. Consumer protection & grievances

• We follow the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, including transparent pricing and a published refund and grievance policy.
• Grievance Officer: contact reach@cuejam.live or write to CueJam, #26, 1st Main Road, Mathikere, Bangalore 560054. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month.

7. Liability, governing law & termination

Liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law. These Terms are governed by Indian law and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. We may suspend or terminate access for breach.
