When boosts and tips are refunded, the timelines, and how to raise a grievance.

Boosts (held, not charged)
A boost is only an authorization until your song is played. If the artist declines, skips, or doesn't play it, the hold is released automatically and nothing is captured.
Tips
Tips are charged immediately and are non-refundable once captured, except for a proven error or duplicate charge.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go to your original payment method — UPI refunds to your source VPA/bank, card refunds to the issuing card. We cannot redirect a refund to a different instrument.
Timing
Refunds are typically completed within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank's and the RBI-regulated processor's timelines; released holds may show on statements for several days.
Grievance redressal
Raise refund issues with our Grievance Officer at reach@cuejam.live; we acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month, per the E-Commerce Rules, 2020.
