1. Who we are & acceptance

CueJam ("we", "us"), a company registered in the Netherlands (KvK no. 74306634, VAT no. NL859847846B01) and operating from Steilte 4, 5629 TN Eindhoven, the Netherlands, runs a platform for live-show song requests, upvotes, reactions, reviews, boosts, and tips. By using CueJam you accept these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 (the GDPR digital-consent age in the Netherlands; it ranges 13–16 across member states). Under-age use requires a parent or guardian's consent.

3. Accounts & acceptable use

Transacting requires a verified email or phone (one-time code). Don't post unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harassing content; we may remove content or suspend accounts.

4. Boosts, tips & fees

• A boost is a card authorization (hold), captured only if the artist plays your song and released automatically if it isn't. Tips are charged immediately.
• CueJam keeps a 15% platform share of captured tips and boosts; engagement-only shows carry a flat €10 artist fee. The artist is the payee; CueJam operates the platform. Payments and payouts are handled by Stripe.
• Song-request ranking reflects boost amount and upvotes (transparency under the P2B Regulation and consumer-protection rules).

5. Performance rights

Artists alone are responsible for music licensing and royalties (e.g., Buma/Stemra); CueJam grants no performance rights.

6. Consumer rights & liability

• Your statutory consumer rights under EU law are unaffected, including pre-contract information and the right of withdrawal (see Refunds & Withdrawal).
• We limit liability where permitted, but we never exclude liability for death or personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence/intent.

7. Governing law & disputes

• The laws of the Netherlands apply; if you are a consumer you keep the protection of your home country's mandatory rules and may bring proceedings there.
• We are willing to resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR). (The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.)
